Menu Me is a restaurant menu decision assistant from Futuron Inc. This policy explains how data is handled.
Your dietary preferences, allergies, goals, and saved scan results are stored locally on your device. Menu Me has no user accounts and uses no advertising or cross-app tracking.
Menu Me will not send data for AI processing until you tap “I Agree” in the disclosure screen. For a scan, the menu photo you choose and the profile context you entered (which may include preferences, allergies, goals, and notes) pass through Futuron's Cloudflare Worker and are processed by Google Gemini on Google's servers to return the analysis. Futuron does not retain the photo or profile on its server.
Google processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and Gemini API Terms. Cloudflare's handling is described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
The app creates a random, app-scoped installation identifier and sends it with AI requests. The Worker hashes that identifier before using it for rate limiting. Rate-limit records expire within 48 hours. The identifier is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Camera and photo-library access are used only when you choose a menu image. Menu Me does not upload your photo until you start an analysis after consenting.
AI-generated nutrition values are estimates and may be inaccurate. Menu Me cannot verify ingredients or cross-contact. Always confirm allergy information with restaurant staff and consult a qualified healthcare professional for personal medical or dietary treatment.
Purchases are handled by Apple. Futuron does not receive or store your payment-card details.
You may revoke AI data-sharing consent in Menu Me Settings. This immediately blocks future AI requests unless you agree again. Local app data remains until you edit it or delete the app. Provider retention is governed by the policies linked above.
Menu Me is not directed to children under 13.
